Although Ms. Deepa Divaakar does not come from a conventional educational background, her experience as a life coach brings a unique and powerful perspective to early childhood care. Her expertise in human behavior, emotional intelligence, and personal growth has been thoughtfully woven into the school’s philosophy, creating a space that goes beyond traditional preschool education.

Under her guidance, Babies Day Out has become a nurturing, empowering environment where each child is seen, heard, and encouraged to thrive. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, mindfulness, and empowerment, shaping a culture that honors every child's individuality.

ABOUT SCHOOL INCEPTION, HISTORY ACHIEVEMENTS

Story – The Journey of Babies Dayout , Founder & CEO.

Babies Dayout was founded in 2017 by the dynamic and visionary Ms. Deepa Divakar, who is also the CEO. Her dream was to create a one-of-a-kind 24-hour daycare and preschool that goes far beyond traditional models. Her concept integrates mindfulness practices, public speaking, group interaction, personality development, academics, physical and mental exercises, language and vocabulary development, and life skills — making Babies Dayout (BDO) a unique platform for the holistic development of every child.

Ms. Deepa Divakar, a fiercely ambitious woman, pursued her education in Pune and completed an MBA before beginning her career as an HR professional in a reputed MNC. A go-getter by nature, she aced her fair share of struggles. A life-changing incident during this phase served as the catalyst for her future venture: one day, due to a delay, she found her twin children left alone outside a reputed kindergarten school in Pune, unattended. This alarming experience ignited the idea of creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy space for children — a place where parents like her could feel assured and focus on their careers without compromise.

Although this dream didn’t materialize immediately, her determination never waned. After leaving her demanding HR job, she returned to Kochi and redirected her energy toward becoming an entrepreneur. She honed multiple skills, becoming a Mindfulness Transformation and Law of Attraction Coach, NLP Trainer, Live Anchor, and founder of Anchor’s Word – a training center offering courses in public speaking, spoken English, personality development, counseling, and more. Her passion for personal growth and helping others has positively transformed countless lives.

Ms. Deepa  Divakar initially started a school in partnership, but due to personal differences, they parted ways. Undeterred by the setback, she launched Babies Dayout in Padamughal, Kochi, in 2019. Just as things began to look promising, the pandemic struck. While many local preschools had to shut down during the lockdown, BDO survived — thanks to the support of a kind-hearted landlord who allowed her to retain the space despite the financial difficulties.

A risk-taker and a believer in transparency, Ms. Deepa Divakar boldly implemented the 24-hour daycare concept, complete with live CCTV access for parents. She continued evolving the curriculum to include mindfulness training and other exclusive elements. Today, BDO proudly operates two centers, and we’ve achieved another major milestone — the development of our own curriculum and educational books.
